Today's visit was to Abu Dhabi. If Dubai is the wastrel son then Abu Dhabi is the rich father!
It's amazing what unlimited money can do with nothing.
The highlight of the tour was the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, reputed to be one of the largest in the world. It is a very impressive building that is mainly used on Friday, with tours during the rest of the week.
