We landed in Singapore the day before our cruise departed and spent the afternoon walking around the neighbourhood near our hotel. It was too hot to do much so we had an early dinner and were asleep by 8.30 local time, which was 10.30 for us.
The departure the next morning was from the terminal near Sentosa Island and we could see the cable car passing directly over the ship. The harbour is a very busy place and the sailaway was a slow passage through all the islands around the city and the large number of anchored ships.
